What is the point?!?!?

Why do people who consider themselves to "Look perfect" feel the need to bully people with acne???
Its not like we ask to have it or anything! We are not dirty people not scumbags or anything so why do it and ruin someones day???
Especially when it comes from girls and guys older than you!!

i am 15 years old, had acne since i was 8 and have to put up with bullying every day...just bout had enough of it!
I cant tell anyone because they are not interested, teachers do f**k all about it ad my mum doesnt do anything

Sadly kids are bl**dy cruel. They may seem to consider themselves to be 'perfect' but usually people who feel the need to bully are deeply insecure and so attack others because it makes them feel better/superior. I know it is hard, but you have to learn to ignore them - they aren't worth getting upset about. I was bullied at school, and it was a boarding school so I couldn't get away from them, and it was hell. My Housemistress taught me to rise above it and not let them get a reaction out of me, and it really helped - when they saw their bullying didn't get to me they began to give up.

Are you sure it's the acne they bully for? I don't know what age group you are in, but assuming we are talking 15-25 now, you will find that there can be a strong need of young females who consider themselves to be unusually attractive to keep away those they consider less attractive, simply because they try to build up more "mass momentum" by having only other "perfect" ladies around them. That's just a simple mating mechanism. You'll have noticed that large groups of attractive females tend to attract equally large groups of (sometimes) attractive males, and that's what they want. They're just afraid that someone with visuals that aren't considered ideal by them spoils their party. But let these people get into any kind of trouble where they lose their attractiveness, and they are lonelier than anyone. So, nothing to be too angry about in the long run, really.

Plenty of people older than you are also more immature - they can't help being so rude because they don't know any better. If they do know better, then they're picking on others in order to feel better about their own flaws which may not be obvious physically.

Sadly there are many reasons. The main one is that the bullies are glad they don't have acne. You are right people do treat acne sufferers very badly and it can cause more pain than the acne. You are right, it is about hormones not cleanliness.

If you have acne , the good news is that in time it will go; and in time these bullies might suffer too: only you would be more understanding. Keep the faith.

Just think that the "perfect people" are misrable on the inside, because most of them have to "work" at looking good on the outside, but they are dead ugly on the inside. The acne problem that you have will clear up in time, but the "perfect people" will always be ugly on the inside.
Just ignore what they have to say, and dont let it get to you. I know that will be hard, but in 10 years who is really going to remember but you?
Remember the saying misery loves company, and that is why the "perfect people" try to bring other people DOWN to their level.

They might have a nice appearance on the outside, but as you know, it has nothing to do with their insides. They must feel a need to look cool at your expense..or if they are older, then maybe they went through it...and they were teased about it, too...so now they do it to someone else to feel better about it. It'll get better for you at some point.

It's a horrible thing to have any kind of skin disorder - I used to suffer really badly from exzema on about 60% of my skin - the looks you get are really horrible.

But, just remember that you can be a nice person inside that skin.... take no notice of people

Theyve got nothing better to do with their day so they want to make fun of other people in order to give them something to discuss with their friends.

People like that are crule and spiteful and they wouldnt like it if someone did it to them.

Just take no notice of them and they should eventually get bored and then leave you alone.

the world is crule and some people are too stupid to look past the skin! (never judge a book by its cover.) ignore them you will loose your acne in time but they will always be disliked in later life if they are bullys!
