No, I don't think it's weird. I used to do that. I see cute outfits, and if they're cheap, why not? If you don't care about the kids' fashion, then it's ok to buy. Can the clothes last long in that box or drawer waiting for the kid you're going to have? Clothes deteriorate so you might want to think that before you spend all that money on baby stuff. Baby stuff ain't that cheap either!
You're just going through a stage where you want a kid so bad, but it's not the time yet, so you just want to satisfy that craving and I think this is what your outlet is.

I dont think you are silly. I am 34 with a 2 1/2 year old boy. I started buying things when I was 27 years old. You can never go wrong with buying dipers with the price they are now a days. You can always buy unisex clothes and shoes. I even decided on my nursery theme and got everything I needed on clearance for half price! You just have to shop wisely. If you see that great stroller you wanted on sale or clearance,,,, GET IT! Same for the crib or other big items. Just make sure you have the storage space. Hope this helps you.

No, it is not silly. If you like something that you would like to see your little ones wearing (in the future), I'd go for it. Rather Be prepared too. But don't do all of the baby shopping yet, enjoy some of it while you are pregnant also.
Hope your man will understand your interests(its like a hobby)..

Yep your weird but there is nothing wrong with that. The only problem would be if the clothes are the wrong season when they fit your future children, but hey, just keep having kids until all the outfits have been used. I wish you lot's of luck and keep shopping....don't forget toys, they never go out of style

its not wierd or silly its very smart actually, stuff is so expensive these days you can never start to early. at least when you do become pregnant you will already have lots of stuff so it wont be such a big strain financally. you cant store it away and you will have more money for stuff you like then cause you have all the basic stuff already at home, im thinking of doing the same.

You're not silly, you're smart!
I wish I'd thought of that, because then I wouldn't have had to get everything during the months when I was pregnant and too dizzy to go out to the shops.
Good luck for the future!

Yes! I heard that you Gynx yourself, as I have known heaps of people that have trouble having kids.... Supersticious! The clothes will be old fashion anyway and you probably wont even use them. Leave the fun part to when u are pregnant.

It's not weird, it sounds kind of fun and spontaneous. My mom recently bought my son a present. The only thing is...I don't have a son or a daughter. It's just something I'll have when the time comes.

I don't think it is weird, but I preferred to buy clothes for other people's kids before I had my own... There will always be plenty of clothes available when your child is born.
