The one food item I know factually that will make one sleepy is Turkey. There is some natural chemical in turkey which - when eaten - will make one sleepy.
I don't know what that chemical is offhand, but I'm sure it can be found on the internet somewhere.

ummm i don't know maybe turkey??? im not sure i usually just get sleepy whenever i need to goto sleep not cuz the food i eat.....

TURKEY!!!! Unoriginal, but true. This could just be me -- but chicken broth also does the work (melatonin also works wonders, they sell it anyplace that sells vitamins).
