i am fat at the same time i play basketball and i am in the team and my playind is terrific i also play 4 hours a day and i am making a diet but i dont lose weight what can i do

if you are active then change your eating habits, eat less more often

Eat several (5-6) small meals a day...your body will burn calories faster and build your metabolism in a short period of time.
(eat about every 2 hours)
The first 8-10 pounds you shed is water.
Meal suggestions:
1st: piece of fruit
2nd: string cheese, summer sausage, cottage cheese/yogurt
3rd: bowl of cereal
4th: soup/sandwich
5th: a good dinner-meat, potatoes/pasta/rice, veggie...your body needs carbs, protein and vitamins to stay healthy
6th: salad/raw veggies
Drink plenty of water
Drink milk or juice/water with every meal (no soda pop)
Stay away from munchies, fried & fatty foods.
Cardio exercise is great, but most people don't continue for an extended period, do daily simple exercise like walking/hiking...swimming and biking are low impact, continue playing basketball...will help to lose pounds and tone your body and continue to have fun doing it.

whatch what ure eating count ure calories and make sure u burn more calories then what ure putting in ure mouth dont skip meals especially breakfast skipping meals and starving urself will slow ure metabolism therefore making it harder for the body to burn fat whatch what u drink as many have a high number of calories or are high in sugar and sugar = energy but if your body doesnt use that energy then ur body will turn it into fat drink plenty of water

may be itz the effect of ur heredity......u could go on a crash diet....like only fruit sprouts non oily vegetables n salads.....but if u stop the diet....u'll gain weight again.
