i would have though being a lesbian means you prefer to have sex with other females rather then random objects.

No. To be a lesbian, you have to be performing sex acts on women, or allowing them to perform them on you. You could just desire sex. Just from guessing, I would say you probably enjoy being on top, as this would allow you something akin to the humping sensation. However, if you've never had sex with a woman, you aren't a lesbian. You probably just have a high sex drive & a hormonal buildup, & need to either masturbate or have sex, & since you aren't, this could be how neglecting your needs manifests itself, because the humping motion, done against the proper item, could stimulate a clitoral orgasm.
