A millennium is 1,000 years followed by an age or megaannum which is 1,000,000 years. An epoch is 10,000,000 years. An era is 100,000,000 years. An eon is 500,000,000 years followed by a gigaannum which is 1,000,000,000 years. NOTE: Anything that requires more thought than this will most likely require the use of a scientific calculator.
