XP is adaptive-if u give it 10gb partition it occupies 7gb, if u giv it 5 it occupies 3 gb, so the minimum shud be 20 gb, so that u get abt 15gb of data, while xp occupies 3 out of 5 gb on c or d drive( 2 gb for program installation)

i've installed it on 10 GB pentium 2 300 MHz. It works. Not so good but it works...
