Good looks last only so long and the novelty of good looks is gone after about the first three months. Only time will tell and in your gut you will know.

You can never be entirely sure, of course. Here is some invaluable advice, however, even if you are not Christian: "By their fruits shall ye know them. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of weeds?" This says that you can tell what a person wants by how they act. Do they do things to cheer you up, and not expect any reward at all? Do they wait for a reward of some kind after helping? Do they do things only in return for something? I think the most significant way to tell if someone cares, is if you are hurting - sad, angry, lonely, etc. - and they too hurt, and seek ways to try and help. This doesn't imply seeking opportunities to be hurt, or decieving others into thinking you are; rather, take opportunities to see how people respond to not only you but others especially. Look at what they do, and how they treat you and others, and you will be able to see what their motivations are at least vaugely.
You can tell when someone is talking to you because they want something, or if they have a purpose in mind. You can also tell if someone just wants to talk to you because they genuienly like you.
There are those kind of people out there.

The truth is you can never be sure, you can only be sure of your self you can never be sure of a second party because when the chips are down the only illogical thing that becomes logical is the way you feel about the person not the way the person feels about you. i believe once you be yourself you will always get someone that wants you for you. Even the cripple has someone. ITS ALL IN THE MIND.

how do you figure it's good looks? did someone other than your
mom or family tell you~you were cute or good looking?
If you're in a relationship you should be able to tell the answer to
that. How many times have your looks comforted someone? or
how many times have your good looks gave it's undivided self?
how often does your good looks come in handy?
If your looks get you free food,access into movies,pays your bills
make others obey your command, then I guess good looks have
it.

The very lust to try this is wrong. beacuse there is NO FORMULA for this. In human relationships and specially in male and female-there are many twists and turns and only time tells depth and warmth of a relationship.
Looks or no looks...this is speculation. Life is speculation and LOVE itself is a speculation....you never knows...whats where...
