Well we do get to sleep. Some of us sleep all day and night. Those of us who actually face the enemy have some restless nights when we attempt to sleep. I have them sometimes others I'm knocked out soon as I lay down. All depends on what happened. Can't say I've had pleasant dreams, but I've certainly had nightmares and just non-dreams.

My boyfriend, (before I met him) was in the Army Special Ops. For 2 years he jumped out of helicopters, shot as many people as he could, and ran back into one. On his right wrist he wears his best friends ID band who was shot in front of him. Granted he has a completely different view of life now than he ever did before. Sometimes he dreams about the war in the dessert and wakes up sweating or shaking. BUT!!! He was never for the war, like many soldiers there, he never wanted to fight, or to jump out of helicopters. He was there because at the time, the American public was lead to believe it was a matter of home security. (Remember 9/11) Those who are there fighting are not there for oil, or to line the pockets of polititions. They are there to defend us, to save us. You can't honestly believe that it is the fault of the infantry that wars are waged. The wars are began by the officials we entrust our freedom to. Don't be angry at the troops... be angry with your greed driven imperialistic government!

Soldiers sleep like any other ordinary persons. Thus, they also have sweet dreams like us. Except, that if there are bombings, their dreams are stopped and they have to mobilize.

sure they do....why not? You know there was a time when death/killing wasn't such a big taboo. They fight every day almost....you would think they would get use to it after awhile and be able to atleast sleep regularly.

My dreams are like this. First I get a Mouj, then i choke him, then I put my foot up his ***. BAM, BAM, BAM, all day long. Thats my pleasure.
