Ask him. Or bend over and see what happens.

You can't tell someones sexuality just by looking at them, whether they are a man, woman or 'mam' (whatever one of those may be!). There are, of course, obvious exceptions to this rule due to humans tendency to stereotype people - ie a largish woman, with short hair and wearing dungarees may be perceived as being a lesbian in the same way that a 30 something slim dark haired guy sporting a thick mustache and wearing a tight white t-shirt and closely fitted jeans may be seen by some as 'gay'.

if you are into stereotypes, you can tell right away if a person is gay or not by the way he looks at you. visit gay websites or read literature that claim to have uncovered mysteries about gay cultures and orientations (oh! you'll be amazed that there are so many), there you can find blueprints of actions and mannerisms of gay people. for example, if that man keeps looking at you and centers on your bulges, then he must be one. if he does things to get your attention like a man does to opposite sex, so you can check him out, then he must be craving for you.

but then stereotypes are just like that, that is, they are stereotypes. If you are familiar with the concept of "break-barrier", then you may begin to think and find deeper what that "looking at you" really means. Start by assessing the circumstances or situation that paved way to that "looking" thing. Think if there maybe something wrong or anything with you that merit the attention of anyone. There are hosts of reasons which only you can think of. Our brains, if properly exercised, can link and process ideas in a fraction of a second. Do not limit yourself to pre-conceived notions of other people who claim to have written a bible about human interactions. There is so much to it that meets the eye.

No true way... it is human nature to "check out" people of the same or opposite sex. People who dissagree with that are childish and have to confindence of what their sexual prefrences are. Sorry, but unles he is with another man kissing or hugging or holding hands [i saw that the other day...] you can't REALLY tell for sure.

Hmm, if you are thinking about it you probably just don't realize yet that you are gay also.

Try staring back at him and smiling. That should help.
