Dear Haroon,
As i am a proud muslim like you these messages and comments never upset me as i am confident and know that these guys who attack Islam and make some racial and ignorant comments are the (ضاÙÙÙ) LOST. Please also consider in our Quraan it states that neither jews or chrisitans will bless you until you follow their paths and beliefs. This will be an eternal conflict until the judgement day and Allah (god) judge us all and i can assure me friend we are on the right side. I would like to give some quick and brief points:
1. The reason behind this negative ISLAM stereotyping is all the Zionists and christian extremists like the US Admin. who control the media and poses their poison on it (cnn, fox, ...)
2. Most of the US citizens dont know where is the Middle East on the map , they are really naiive and partially ignorant about the outside world. People who live in Texas view NY as the rest of the world :) it is a shame but it is very true. Americans and western people really dont know much about Islam except some bombs and turbans and camels. They dont read at all.
3. The history shows that ISLAM ruled more than 8 centuires from Andalucia west and till China east. This part of History was charecterized by truth ,prosperity, freedom and peace for all people and religions especially jews who really didnt deserve it!.
4. The western civilzation evolution came upon the science and studies of former islamic scholars and this a fact and no one can deny it.
5. Why Muslims hate the west:
A. Crusades
B. Colonization
C. CREATING A CANCER IN THE ISLAMIC BODY CALLED ISRAEL.
Finally my friend cheer up, Life is always upside down, Islamic countires will unite again and will remove that zionist dirty pigs from our land again and belive me Jews are hurting chrisians more than they are hurting muslims. They mislead their belief and ruined and changed the original bible who god sent to Jesus peace upon him.
Thanks for all people who think and read before judging anyone.

Yes, I have studied Islam as well as the other religions.
My prime concern is the origin of the religion, and the character of the founder(s). If you have the same demanding criteria, I suggest you re-examine your faith.
God loves you. He cares about you and all men. He is not cold, there is nothing capricious in his nature. God is long suffering towards us, not willing that anyone should perish, but that all might come to repentance.
Muhammad began by trying to win people over as followers, but as this did not produce the desired results, his message changed to one of forced submission. If you read the Koran, you know this.
You know that Abraham was a great man, and his descendent, Jesus, taught us that God is consistent, never changing. He also taught us that God is love.
Jesus taught us to love each other, to love our neighbor, and to love our enemies. In the USA, we have to use force to repel force, but we do not use force to make people change their religion. You can live in the USA and be Muslim or any other religion. In Iraq, where the USA took control for political reasons, whether you agree with those reasons or not, you must admit that they are not there to make the people change their religion. No effort has been asserted to stop people from being Muslims.
So why does the USA have such tolerance for other religions? Because our founding fathers were Christians, and set up the government based on Christian principles. This is why the USA prospered while stronger nations with much greater natural and human resources did not progress or even failed.
There is nothing within the pages of the Bible that even suggests that the followers of Christ will ever use force to convert others. God is God, and he doesn't need his children killing others to convert anyone.
You cannot find any group of any size anywhere in the world who calls themselves Christian that uses violence to convert people. Yet, all thru-out the world, millions of Muslims continue to use force and violence to achieve religious ends. And tens of millions not directly involved support them with money or at least in spirit. You know this is true. On 9-11, when three thousand plus people who live and work with Muslims in peace were suddenly killed, all around the world Muslims were dancing in the streets.
If you really feel as you expressed in your question above, I suggest that you conduct a serious study of religion, and make sure that what you believe is what matches up with the accepted teaching and practice of Islam.

All of those people are ignorant who accuse Islam of being a hate filled religion and say all Muslims are terrorists. Honestly, if were to follow a religion again, it would probably be Islam. I'll be honest, I haven't studied it in great detail, but from what I have learned I can tell that Muslims show alot of compassion. I hate when people accuse you guys of all the worlds problems and accuse you of being terrorists. It's the actions of a few extremists who have been corrupted. Is it fair for Muslims to base Christians, for example, on the actions and beliefs of the Westboro Baptist Church? No, and it's certainly not fair for people to judge a huge group of people based on the actions of an extreme sliver of your religion. I'm 110% behind you. Why do people assume they know about something from a few extreme cases?

well, i don't think Muslims are bad, politicians are bad. the Islam is a pretty humanitarian religion that is currently not being followed. i think all religions are primitive and destructive, the Islam is very chauvinist. relating 2 the middle east conflict, i don't blame neither the Palestinians nor the Israelis. Israel has mostly a stupid government. most citizens wish 4 peace. the Palestinians act violently but cant be completely blamed because they suffer from horrible treatment and r educated 2 act in this violent way. i do believe that like 2 kids whose fight gets out of control, a parent, in this case the US should interfere.

I know that a few of the muslim people are actually responsible for bad deeds. But they are not checked by the majority, and the bad deeds are done, and that makes a lot of non-muslims prejudiced against all. Those people who do commit those crimes are very immature, to think that will solve anything (except that they think when taking their lives when taking the lives of infidels will grant them the way to Heaven), and they have to be taught better. And restrained. So that children, the world over, will be saved - from terrorist attacks and counter-terrorist strikes (which are as bad and I don't know if they could be faithfully called so).

I have researched the Islam religion, and I found that it was no more violent than some portions of the Bible. Don't be discouraged by people who talk bad about Islam. It's a case of only hearing the worst, instead of the best. They do it to Christianity also.
I've known some amazing Muslims, and I have no problem with you, or anyone like you who worships Allah.

Actually, if you would read the Torah, you would see that God on a number of occasions told the Israelites to kill everyone in the land He had promised them. But, they disobeyed God and let them live. What is happening in the world today is primarily because God is not obeyed.
However ... the Messiah, who died on the cross, died for EVERYONE who is a sinner. Who is a sinner? EVERYONE is a sinner. So, He died for you and me equally. What He taught us in doing so was that none of us is perfect, and that we should love each other as we would love ourselves. In here lies your problem. Many of those of your religion would kill themselves, therefore, their "love" for themselves is the same as the "love" they have for others. They have no problem killing themselves, me, or even you because that is how they love themselves.
True love creates. It does not destroy. But true love also protects the innocent from that which would destroy them. That is why God came down to die - To protect us from that which would destroy us. That is called sacrifice. One who kills oneself in order to kill innocents is sacrificing nothing. He or she is simply loosing eternal life with the Messiah.
The good thing is the Messiah did not stay dead. He conquered death and lives today. He invites you to live with Him forever should you choose. It is your choice to accept or reject His offer. On the day you stand before Him in judgment, that will be the only thing that will matter - did you accept His forgiveness?
As for your girlfriend, obviously she did not leave you because you were Muslim, or she would not have married another Muslim. That was her choice. You must respect it. If you don’t, you are just as guilty of disrespecting her belief that she is better off with someone else, as you are accusing others of disrespecting yours.
Have I ever done research on Islam? Yes. Enough to know that your god is not my God. Is that a reason to be enemies and hurt each other? No. Life on this earth is too short to be angry and hateful. What is important is what is waiting on the other side.
The Messiah said that there is a heaven and a hell. He said that He is the only way into heaven. Your religion regards the Messiah as a wise prophet (many call Him “Jesus the Christ” – I call Him Yeshua the Messiah). Why would a “wise prophet” say that He is the only way into heaven if this were not true? He is either a liar and not even a prophet, which means your religion is mistaken, or He is who He said He is: I Am.
All I ask is that you consider it, and may you be Blessed with His Wisdom.

We think of it as "bad" because we don't understand it.
We don't understand the reason and meanings of the turbans or other headwear worn by the men.
Why do most men not shave, and have poor hygeine (body odor)?
Why do the women have to cover themselves from head to toe in dark clothing?
Why don't the women have any "say" in what goes on in day-to-day life?
Why do you believe that if you die in martyrdom that you get a bunch of virgins in heaven? Hey, if you couldn't get the girls when you were alive, what makes you think you can get the girls in heaven?
In short, the reason we - Americans in particular - don't like, care for, or even respect muslims because of a muslim in Afghanistan who arranged for other muslims to take airplanes on September 11, 2001 and crash them into the World Trade Center, The Pentagon, and outside a small town in Pennsylvania.
9-11 . . . NEVER FORGET, NEVER AGAIN!

Jesus Christ is my Redeemer and Salvation, it is a personal relationship and not a religion that I have, but he made it clear that I am to spread the gospel as he gave it, that I am to persuade others not condemn or hurt - either in word or action, and that the Holy Spirit is the only one who can bring about a convicting change in a person's heart. I'm sorry your love belonged to another. That is very painful to discover and will take time to get over. As a Christian she should have not been involving herself in a relationship outside of her marriage which she is accountable for and will answer to God for the sin she has committed and for the hurt she has brought into your life as well. That is what I have learned from the relationship I have with Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, who gave his life as a ransom for mine, and now reigns at the right hand of God until the day he comes to take his saints home in heaven. Again, I'm sorry for your pain and suffering and heartache at this time. I have given this as truthfully as I can and I hope that you are not offended by its honesty and sincerity. I have tried to avoid speaking of things I have no knowledge, which is why I can only provide the answer I have given in the way I have given it.

Thank you for posting that. Americans only know what they see on TV. They are scared of the unknown. Its called religion on wrong. catholics killing abortion doctors because they don't believe in what they do. Those are extremist and ignorant people. Not everyone feels that way. Americans are not good at knowing or learning about other cultures. They just seem to know America. They are very patriotic but live in a box. Not all Americans but alot!
