Financial Services Authority began governing these last year. Their powers are stronger for small business and personal covers than they are for larger businesses (as its deemed they should know what they're doing and therefore need less protection)

Any complaints write to the company first and give them seven days to reply, if you are not happy with their answer, report to the FSA, they have strong powers and will take up your complaint with the company involved
