did you honestly choose to be gay? If it was your decision, it shouldn't be difficult to stop. If you, on the other hand, had no choice in the matter, then whether the end is near or not, I think you'll be fine. You see I'm not gay, but I never made a choice. I was just attracted to men that's just the way I was.

to all the people who are asking you to repent- At what time in your life did YOU choose to be heterosexual? I'm guessing that you were just born that way, so be careful how you judge, you could someday be held to account.

The end of what?
If you're talking about that whole Rapture thing, well, sweetie, the end has been near for about 2000 years and counting now. I wouldn't fret too much about it; you'll only become neurotic and hopelessly unhappy thinking about it. As for wanting to stop being gay, well...you're just gonna have to get over that: you are what you are and if people are telling you that it's wrong, immoral, diseased, or whatever, then ask yourself what gives them the right to tell you all of these things about yourself, when they can't even tell you what it's like to be you. I'm gay, and whenever people are telling me how "wrong" or how "bad" it is to be gay, I usually ask them to tell me something else, just to prove that what they're saying is right. Usually I ask them for my social security or driver's license number. Because I mean, if they can tell me something so complex as what's in my heart and soul, they can surely tell me something EASY like my driver's license number, my TELEPHONE number, or what I had for breakfast three days ago.
It's likely that if you want to "stop" being gay, you're in a situation in which few, if any people understand you. OR you're very young, so maybe the end you're so worried about is an end to isolation, and an end to arrogant, stuck up busy-body homophobes cramming flawed ideology down your throat? Well, if it's an end to THAT, then sweetie, break out your boogie shoes and celebrate!

The end is not near. Quit scaring yourself like that. And being gay really isn't that bad. Stupid to call it a sin. But I'm telling you now, if all that gish about God and heaven is true, you don't need to live exactly as it says in the Bible. If you're a nice, honest person who isn't inclined to cause others grief then you're going to heaven.

You know I had the same problem. I tried to stop being a lesbian but I cannot. its just something in me that I can not let go of. I even tried for 3 yrs to be in a heterosexual relationship and out of it I gained a daughter. If you feel like u must give up ur true identity because you fear what God will think, then try really hard. But I think that God already knows who you are and there is no need to fake it. Be true to yourself.

Don't stop being gay because you're afraid of the end or judgment. Stop being gay because it is wrong and it goes against the Word of God.

Are you being serious? If so, it's simple, really. I was bisexual with lesbian leanings, now I'm not. I walk with God, and I'm forgiven for what I did. AND I'm straight now.
So it's your call. If you really want to stop, God can and will forgive you. Can you and will you forgive yourself? If so, you'll be fine, whether the end is near or not.

If you are being honest then i suggest you give your life over to Christ. Even tho it may be hard you can do it. God will surely give you the strength but you need to go to Him full heartedly. its like the scripture in Phil. says "I can do all things through him who strengthens me" and do not let the enemy decieve you, but live your life out cleanly. Well first thing to do is to repent to God from what you did because its a sin you know then I guess you must struggle this desire and try to fast allot and I mean by fasting is not to eat at all from the sun rise till the sun set and you will be feeling good if God wills :)
