dog problems?

Question

i have a cur dog who is very hyper and does not listen. i am moving and cannot keep her. the local humane society is full and i have been looking for someone to take her, but cannot find a new owner for her, what to do?

shes a 1 1/2 year old black mouth cur/springer mix. email me for more info @ [e-mail].

i am moving into a new apartment that does not take dogs. i have tried training as best i can and do not have enough money to take to training school.

You mean a "mountain cur"? I wonder if there's a rescue organization? I'll go look, but in the meantime, try to find another shelter within reach. Go to http://www.petfinder.com and do a search for shelters in your area.

try a black mouth cur rescue group or a springer rescue group . you could owner surrender to them. there are even mutt rescue groups! just keep trying till you get one that will help her out. email and call everyone on these web pages contact list until you get a response.
tell them your situation..and that the local humane society is too full. BEG them if need be. Poor dog! i wish i could take her. you can even try resources that are NOT a Cur or Springer...and then there is always the option of calling the next biggest city to yours and asking if they have room. don't give up! just don't give her to someone you don't know!

What area do you live in? Why can't you take her with you? Check for no-kill private shelters, cell dog programs, craigslist (online), do not offer FREE DOG in newspaper ad, as that encourages labs who want dogs for experiments. If the reason you feel you can't take her is because she is "hyper", then get her some training. Don't just leave her to be put down because she is now inconvenient. Look for an all breed rescue.

Have you thought about dog training, i have 2 winier dogs and they used to chew up everything and they wouldn't sit still for 5 seconds. but as they got older and had some dog training school they are mellow as can be, I almost secretly love them more than my girlfriend. ( just kidding) with a little love and training she should be OK...

keep chckin g you local shelter, and keep on the humane society, you could try the humane society where your moving to?? There are also rescue leagues try gettin online & see waht you can find.....is she a good hunter or have the prospect for it?? You could try that route, a good hunting dog ia always sought after!! BEST OF LUCK & PLEASE dont give up on her!!!

Put an ad in the newspaper and put up ads in stores. Someone is bound to ask for her.

try being kind to her.maybe you did some bad deeds to her
