…why? It’s illegal! Do you support robbery and murder too? Only intelligent, non-insulting, real answers please. If you're not going to respectfully answer the question, then don’t bother, unless you like getting reported.

I support illegals. Why? Sometimes I'm not even sure. I mean, no I don't support robbery or murder or anything else like that. I just feel that the people coming over here illegally aren't trying to harm us.They want a better life and I can't blame them for that. I understand about it being Illegal and all, and I know that some people here find it very offensive. Everyone has their own opinion, and I respect that. What I can't respect are racial slurs and name calling, basically to people from mexico. They aren't the only ones here illegally. It's just easier for some to point their fingers in that direction.I feel like people deserve to be treated as human beings, even if they entered a country illegally. No one can help where they were born and to whom. It's not these peoples fault that they were born in a place that offers hardly no room for improvement. It's like this : if you were so thirsty your tongue was swollen and your throat closed up, and you were in the middle of the desert. Someone came by and told you of a place where there was all the water you could drink, all you had to do was cross a fence.Well, you get there and there was a "do not enter" sign across the fence, but you could see the water behind it.And you have your thirsty children with you who are crying for water.Would you cross the fence anyway ,or let yourself and your children die of thirst? Man,I'd cross the fence.Think of it in their shoes. They hear of everything America has to offer, most have family who came here illegally first. They are promised jobs that make double what they make in their countries and opportunities for a better life for their kids.Who wouldn't want that?A chance for your kids to go to school free and become whatever they wanted to be,not just some maid or field worker. No one would want to turn that down. I respect people who want to better their lives.I know that you say "Why not enter legally?"Well, true, for those who can.But America is like a brick s**thouse when trying to enter from another country. If you don't have a sponser or legal family here, you ain't getting in.Atleast not from mexico. So,they do the next best thing for them...take their chances and enter here illegally.

So,sometimes I agree with all ya'll "anti-illegals". And sometimes I don't.I never agree to racism against people who never directly harmed you.I don't support breaking the law and I think they should be punished. But drunk drivers can get off with paying fines and warnings. They can even work towards getting their records cleaned. So if someone potentially dangerous(drunk drivers)can get off so easily, then why can't illegal immigrants get a way to stay here legally?I'm not talking amnesty.

I do not support illegal immigration. And to the chick above me: You're making it sound like Mexico is a third world country or something. They have water and food too. They are just greedy and want more than their lot in life. No it's not their fault they were not born in America, but it's not the fault of Americans either. We should not have to put up with illegal aliens breaking our laws just so they "can have a better life". I'd like a plasma screen TV too but you don't see me breaking into a store to steal one. It's the same concept just on a larger scale. Breaking into a country and stealing from it's economy should be punished and they should be sent back to the country from which they came, be it Mexico or anywhere else.

Pancha, for the first time I agree with you. Nice post.

Jessica, get something new. That article has been posted way too many times and you posted every one of them. You really should try to have a thought of your own. We all know you can copy and paste, show us an original idea.

Anyone who's on the illegals' side is usually ignorant. Every time I've seen someone defending illegals, they resort to name calling and twisting the asker's words around. Where did the asker say you can't voice your opinion if you disagree with him/her? All that was said was be respectful, and if you're not, you'll be reported. You won't get reported if you disagree AND are respectful.

Everyone knows we are a country of immigrants, the only difference is, my immigrant ancestors didn't come here illegally. And don't try to say we are illegal because we stole the land from natives. Back then the world was a more barbaric place, and this country didn't have any laws. Before you blame Americans for killing indians, brush up on your history of Mexico. Here, let me help you; the Spaniards - the Mexican's ancestors - killed off the Aztecs.

I don't support illegal immigration.I want amnesty for illegals in the country right now and secure borders. The reasoning behind it is this, they have been coming illegally for years, the gov. knew about it and just stood by.Now all of a sudden the media starts saying ,"There's 12 million illegal immigrants in the country right now.",and ppl start freaking out.The population of the US is like 300 million. We are not overcrowded,we are not on the brink of economic collapse. They are just a drop in the bucket in regards to taking social services.Ppl will post stats on here saying that illegals cost the US billions every year. It's all bullshit, the numbers they show are for the total amount that is spent on social services FOR EVERYONE on welfare, food stamps, medicaid, thats everyone, all the citizens ,all the legal immigrants ,and the small percentage of illegal immigrants on social services.
Yes,they are here illegally.I can't justify that.I won't even try.But what alot of ppl will also tell you is that are all "fence hoppers".This is also bullshit.Alot came with visas and allowed them to expire. Now they are illegal. These ppl ,however, can and do pay taxes. They either have social security cards or a ITIN.The ITIN is also available to illegals who did "border jump" who want to work "legally" instaed of "under the table".
Other ppl will tell you that they are taking things from Americans, that Americans are going without because of illegals.Again bullshit. If you go apply for welfare and they deny, you probably don't need it.They will see a hispanic person in there automatically think they are illegal because they speak Spanish and walk away thinking ,"Damn illegals are taking my welfare.""What the hell,Im an American,I deserve it more than them."They see overcrowded schools, and they think damn illegals taking up all the room at my kids school. They see a hospital close and they think damn illegals taking up all the medical care.Basically what I'm trying to say is,They are a scapegoat for all of this countries problems.
You will see alot of ppl on here scream about deporting all the illegals. How can you deport the mothers and fathers of children born in the US?What about the ppl that have been here for 20+ yrs that own houses, have never commited a crime(besides being illegal) and have been productive members of society. There are illegals that own businesses, that have done very well for themselves. How do you own a business or a home and not pay taxes?I get that alot,"illegals don't pay taxes" BULLSHIT.
I say:
Secure the border.
Screen the illegals.
Deport the undesirables.
Give the rest amnesty.
Thanks for letting me rant.

I have no problem with anyone who comes to this country, as long as they do it the right way, my girlfriend is from the Philippines and she came here on a legitimate visa and eventually became a citizen of this country. As for people who are illegal they should be deported back to there country, and if they do it again they should be jailed and then deported. we are a country of immigrants, but we are also a country of laws. I myself used to live in San Diego California and saw first hand the huge flow of illegals in this country. If it was 1 million Americans rushing into Mexico illegally the boarder would be locked down, and if you take a look at the immigration laws of Mexico, they are some of the stiffest in the world. Its not fair to the people waiting in line for their turn the right way, while others cut in front of the line.

There is no proper legal channel for immigration to the U.S just like Canada for example has. So people from lesser developed countries flock into the U.S illegally.

Hey morons, where did the asker say not to tell what you felt? All that was asked was to be respectful.... As far as speeding and parking tickets, those are civil offenses, not criminal ones.
