The amazing fact about Jesus is that no secular historian has ever denied the existence of Jesus Christ. The point of contention lies with weather or not one believes he is the Son of God and the only way to Heaven.

Farkas419 nailed it. I personally do believe in God. It was how I was raised. Though I'm not a "churchy" person I don't go to church, or...have to go christian rallies. Whatever they do. Cause it really doesn't make a difference...I'm sure the man who lived a good life and never when to Church is gonna burn in hell. While the child molester who goes every day is heaven bound.

But yea, if you take it from a strictly scientific point of view. Say a person who believes in science over religion. There is actually more to accredit the existence of God than there is to disprove it.

LOL its funny huh..then actually a person who believes in science...should really believe in god. As I said above, there's more to accredit the existence of God then not... but that would mean they believe in god....and...wow a conundrum.

No one doubts that Jesus lived; it's the "Christ" (being the "annointed" of god) part that some people don't accept.

Unless and until there's a Second Coming, NO ONE can prove that Jesus was divine.

But that's why Faith is called "faith."

No, because there is significant evidence to state otherwise. An example would be that the myth of Jessus parrellels several other ancient mythologies dying god mythos where they give themselves up for sacrifice. The story of Jesus is just another ancient mythology which survived into this time period.

That's what I was told by my Granny, so I assume in the affirmative that Jesus was a man. That Christ part is still under review though. His buddies didnt call him that.

I think it's a historical fact that he did. The question though is if he was God's son, or a powerful person, at all. And this, I don't think happened. I'd rather think he was an ordinary political leader of the time, who became dangerous for the powerful, and was killed for that. The rest seems to be myth to me.

There is more physical proof that Jesus lived, than there is on the life of Plato. So yes, I believe.
