First off, I am not anywhere near a vegitarian.
Just want everyone to know that cattle have their trachea's (for those of you who dont know the trachea is your throat, starting at your jaw and ending at your shoulders) literally ripped out and bled to death (all without any kind of pain killers) and lobsters are boiled alive.
If you had to chose which animal to give a more humane death to who would you go with?
Dont give me that bs that lobsters dont feel pain, if it is living it feels some kind of pain when the temp goes from 60 to 300.

Also you drink what you pee.

isnt education fun :^)
I would eat sewer rat if it tasted like pumpkin pie. :^þ

Cattle are rendered unconscious before they are bled out. I have seen it done in both a small meat laboratory and several larger packing plants. They cannot feel a thing when they are bled out. Have you ever been to a packing plant? Have you ever seen the procedure performed. The USDA (you should know what that means if you are talking about this, but it is the United State Department of Agriculture) regulates all the harvesting of animals. They have a set of guidelines for acceptable practices in order to actually kill the livestock animal.

I don't know anything about lobsters, but I'm not a big seafood fan at all. I just don't like the taste.

So I guess the lobsters receive a more inhumane death, so I guess if I had to choose I would choose the lobster to receive a more humane death.
