How do you change the defoult setting on you media player, I have windows media player and real media player, but some how media player became the defoult player, how do I change it to windows media player?

To make Windows Media Player your default media player, follow these steps:
1. In Windows Media Player, click Tools, and then click Options.
2. On the Formats tab, under Available File Formats, click Select All to select all of the file formats listed (or you can click to select each individual check box).
3. Click Apply, and then click OK.

Well if you are using Windows XP there is a really easy way to do this, select start then on the right of the menu that appears there should be an option for set program access and defaults, select this then on the window that appears click on the arrow button by custom and scrolll down to the media section and set your media player here.

I imagine if you don't have xp you can find something similar in the control panel section of your computer.

go to real media properties and deselect all the files types.
or you click on a mp3 file choose open with and choose window media player and select the below checkbox.

open media player and then click on tools >options..>then click on file type here u unmake the file extension u don't want to play in media player
