My 8 year old nephew wants to put a scoop of breyers vanilla in his berry blue kool-aid, and keeps asking about it constantly. To me it sounds completely gross, and I tell him I dont think its a good idea and it can possibly make him sick, but I rely on my own instincts and have no real proof that this can happen. What do you guys think?

He won't like it, but indulge him if you want to. It will be gross, but it won't kill him.

Yes, totally safe!! I'll even tell you what it will taste like...nothing more than a cream-cycle!! When I did it, I used vanilla ice cream (I forgot which brand),which i put into a glass and poured tropical kool-aid on top of it. It may sound really gross but believe me its actually good. It definitely will NOT hurt him. Your nephew rocks! lol

Iced Tea or Pop (ideally Dr Pepper) lemonade is sturdy yet i won't drink litres of it. Kool help is okay in smaller parts (I genuinely have mango flavoured agua fresca interior the refrigerator)

Gross but it's ok other than it's a ton of sugar!
Maybe make him a small one. And if he drinks it all likes it and isn't sick a little later than he can more (but hopefully he'll be over it don't give him aclue that you think it's nasty cause than he'll do it just to show off)

there's no reason it would be dangerous - they're both completely safe separately, so they should be safe together. putting ice cream in drinks is fairly common, and nobody's died from it as far as i know. gross as you may find it, let him do it.

U should let him do it. If he keeps pestering about it, let him do it so that when it does make him sick and give him the RUNS, he wont ask anymore and he wouldve learned his lesson....lol
