One of the best ways to rid your body of water is to drink more water! Seriously, your body thinks it's not getting enough and will store more (also excess salt will do this to you). Once you replete your body of it's water, it will start to release the excess water. It may take a couple of days (and a lot of trips to the bathroom).

Don't drown yourself. It's suggested that you drink half your body weight in ounces of water (example: if you weigh 150 lbs that 75 ounces of water a day). If you're retaining too much water, then I would perhaps double that amount for a few days to help.

Good luck!

Make sure you are getting enough potassium, either take a supplement or eat a banana every day. Limit your salt intake. Eat asparagus, drink parsely tea(or just eat parsley.) Also, if you can afford it and/or have the time, it would help to get a full body massage, maybe once a mth. A deep-tissue massage would force the trapped water out of your fat, and you simply pee it out. Also, it may not SOUND like it makes sense...but drink lots of water! If you drink enough water, it will flush the water that you have stored, OUT. Good luck!

YOU NEED TO FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS THAT THE DOCTOR GAVE FIRST...YOU CAN THAN GO WALKING..AND I MEAN A LONG WALK..IF YOU HAVE TO STOP AND TAKE A BREAK BY ALL MEANS DO THAT..BUT WALKING WILL GET ALL THE MUSCLES IN YOUR BODY WORKING EVEN YOUR HEART WHICH IS VERY IMPORTANT.....DO SIT AROUND ALL THE TIME..GET UP AND DO SOMETHING, LIKE GO THROW HOOPS WITH YOUR BUDDIES...GO PLAY FRISBEE WITH YOUR DOG AND IF YOU DON'T HAVE A DOG FIND ONE IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD THAT WILL HELP YOU OUT..ONE OF THE WORST THINGS IS TO SIT AROUND ALL DAY LONG...THIS MAY SOUND FUNNY TO YOU BUT YOU NEED TO DRINK LOTS OF WATER..NEED TO GET YOU KIDNEYS WORKING TO LOSE THAT WATER RETENTION...GOOD LUCK BUT FOLLOW YOU INSTRUCTIONS FROM THE DOCTOR MOST OF ALL............
