i have a sty its really sore and itchy what can i do to make it go away

Use a hot water compress to help pull infection from the sty.

Warm compresses will help the stye to open and drain. Do this several times a day. Washing your eye with baby shampoo is also beneficial but only do this once or twice a day as this can dry the eye. Benadryl is sometimes helpful for the itching. If the stye remains for several days, see your doctor as you may need medicated drops. It is sometimes necessary for your doctor to open and drain the stye.

don't rub at it! make a warm compress by taking a washcloth with pretty warm water (not burning hot!) and wringing it out, then placing it against the area periodically, making certain not to touch the eyeball itself. it will not only soothe the pain and itching but help get rid of it.
