A person who sleeps with anyone is not a sl*t. A person who sleeps with lots of people is. Are your parents mongo religious? I can't believe they won't even let you wear flip flops. If you really believe that you don’t dress slutty and that you dress like a normal 13-year-old, then you should make sure your parents know this. Show them how normal, non-slutty 13-year-olds dress.

Well, if they said you need to respect your body, then you must be dressing like a ****, and if you're wearing anything that I see most 13 yo girls wearing, then you're dressing like a ****. I would NOT recommend totally defying your parents, they have the power and ability to make your life really miserable, like removing priveleges, etc. I'm sure if you go to your parents reasonably, calmly, and with a good attitude, then you guys can work out a compromise. But you're probably going to have to be willing to pay for your own clothes, with money that you earn. Your parents have every right to not spend their money on something that they feel isn't good for you.

If your parents thinks you dress like a slut, then you must dress like a slut. Or maybe you've had some drastic changes with the way you dress that they recognize it clearly. Your parents know you better than anyone else out there.

Just be yourself and dress how you feel comfrable (don't dress to impress boys, but if you're comfrable dressin' like a hoochy momma then go ahead I wouldn't care)

Don't be a w**** and you will have nothing to worry about. Are your parents very conservative? flip flops.........ummm can't help you! I'd have no problem with you wearing those.........damn. that is pretty uptight! Flip flops are part of my EVERYDAY wardrobe! I'd say ask them to trust you and to trust that you are not being permiscuous.
