But when people post in English, at YA's for speakers of other languages, those posts are usually welcome?
Why would that be?
And please don't bring up examples of the opposite phenomenon. I've said USUALLY twice. I know there are exceptions.

Many are a little... mmm... worried, I guess. Most of people here are from the USA. And many of them don't want anything else than English in their country. I guess they are afraid of losing something as most of them will never learn another language. And people witing in another language here may be offensive to them. Like saying "damn foreigners! They have their own section of Yahoo! Go to hell.. or there, which is the same!".
I am generalizing and maybe exagerating it. But for me, they sound that way, which is weird, being them living in a country which original native inhabitants are only a few and are discriminated by those whose families once were immigrants.

People complain because we're required to post in the language of the forum. There are other forums for other languages. When people post in English at YA's for speakers of other languages, those posts are usually welcome because this is an English speaking forum.

I think, in fact, people must write in the language of the forum, I have visited other forums where people write in different languages, and finally, you found a question in English, and answers in Spanish, french and Portuguese.
my native language is Spanish, but I will never answer in Spanish, except, of course, if someone ask for a translation :)

yeah, I don't get it. I got reported for posting a question in mandarin..even though it had to be answered by a mandarin speaker in their native language..and the question was posted under languages..I think they just feel inferior.

one of my post in french got deleted. but when i went into the french section it still showed up on yahoo!US because this where i singed up. And it didnt get deleted.
The posts like that usually get deleted after detection or someone reporting them because it's against the policies.
