No diet at all works...Not for the long haul. You need to change your way of thinking about food. To eat only for health and survival..Sure you can enjoy food, but it is not wise to use it for comfort, or to eat out of boredom etc...I used to have an eating disorder many years ago, I read a book that I found in the pharmacy, written by a "layperson" who had the same problem. It changed my life. It has been many years, and my weight since I read it has not varied by more than 5 pounds since! I sincerely wish I could remember the title because it was a great book. It, however, was written by a "nobody" so it never became a big hit. It was sure a hit for my health though. If you want more details about the principles written about in the book, feel free to email me.

Both Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem are very expensive. You'd do better to meet once with a nutritionist and work up a diet. However, Jenny Craig and Nutrisystem do offer classes and meetings and counseling and other resources for losing weight other than just the diet itself, so if you think those resources might be valuable it might be worth it to you.

The diets (both Jenny and Nutrisystem) do work, if you follow them. I'd just be concerned about the expense.

Pretty much dont eat like a pig. Get plenty of activity.Drink lots of water. Dont starve yourself. Find the cabbage soup recipe. Has negative calories. THat means it takes more calories to digest it than it has in it. Take long walks. Eat carbs in the am and protein at night. If you start your day with a glass of citrus fruit or a citrus fruit for breakfast, it increases your metabolism by fifteen percent. If you exercise on an empty stomach, it increases your caloric burn by something like twelve percent. Good luck.

I recommend using the Trim Body System if you are doing a program on your own. People are getting great results from it. If not, eating 5-6 healthy meals every day with moderate portion sizes.

none of the above. metabolize what you eat, if you exceed this you are loosing weight. if you do not you will store fat. nutrition though is an individual issue, follow what you know to be true in yourself
