Reproduction isn't the only reason we have sex. If that were so, then why would females be able to climax?
Women are just as horny during pregnancy as before or after (when they're not nauseated or otherwise uncomfortable).
Humans also have sex to experience closeness with another person; to express love; to fulfill natural sexual desire; and just to have fun.
A person's sex drive isn't just driven by the reproductive instinct. It's also governed by the mind, which can conjure up many reasons to have sex.

Primates have sex for other reasons than reproduction, such as for bonding.
Think about it. If you were a cave woman and wouldn't have sex with your cave man for nine months, he might leave you and make the process of successfully having and rearing a child more difficult. Then your genes would not be passed on to the next generation.

Are you kidding? Ask any female if she was in the mood when she was pregnant. After the first trimester (Mos. 1-3 and morning sickness) I wanted it ALL the time. I mean ALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL the time. Your hormones just go crazy. What made it worse was at the time of wanting it, my husband (now ex) was stationed with the Marines elsewhere. Uggggggggggggggg
