I have no religion. I have no use for religion, but I believe in God and always will. I believe He is the Supreme Being, the Ultimate Spirit. I am also a scientist and I believe in evolution, etc. and you may ask, how can you? Don't you believe in Adam and Eve?
No!!! But that does not mean that I cannot believe in God without believing in religion. God and religion do not necessarily go hand in hand. God is extremely important to me personally and I require his guidance daily.

Man cannot attain to his true humanity and acquire peace of mind unless he realises this aim for which he was created. But how can he do this! God, being merciful and Just, has helped him in many ways. He granted him an originally good nature that is inclined to know and serve its true Lord. He granted him a mind that possesses a moral sense and the ability to reason. He made the whole universe a natural book full of signs that lead a thinking person to God. But to make things more specific, to give him more detailed knowledge of his Lord, and to show him in a more detailed manner how to serve Him, God has been sending down verbal messages through His prophets chosen from among men, ever since the creation of man.

There is no importance beyond those who believe to have comfort in the knowledge that there is something or someone responsible for their existence.People need to know that their is a reason for life and without an explanation that can be proved, a "faith" based version of truth has been accepted as the answer and a God has been dreamed as the truth within that answer.

Brain

I could while away the hours, conferrin' with the flowers
Consultin' with the rain.
And my head I'd be scratchin' while
my thoughts were busy hatchin'
If I only had a brain.
I'd unravel every riddle for any individ'le,
In trouble or in pain.
With the thoughts you'll be thinkin'
you could be another Lincoln
If you only had a brain.
Oh, I could tell you why The ocean's near the shore.
I could think of things I never thunk before.
And then I'd sit, and think some more.
I would not be just a nothin' my head all full of stuffin'
My heart all full of pain.
I would dance and be merry, life would be a ding-a-derry,
If I only had a brain

Depends on the God... .

There are many answers to this question, but one of the most important ones is man's tendency to define himself.

When man defines himself as limited portions of his experience, limited portions of his body, limited portions of his mind, his behaviors, etc., he denies portions of himself and thus forgoes knowledge that he does, indeed, have responsibility for them.

Example: People have actually been found that due to a psychological block deny a portion of their body. As a consequence, they literally cannot move it, even when faced with damage (they often don't feel pain despite having no actual damage to the brain or the limb). They can be taught to accept the limb again, and regain control over moving it.

Imagine how many portions of yourself you deny everyday... .

God, or something greater than yourself, allows you to identify not just with your body, but with things outside your body. By identifying with portions of reality outside your body. The more you identify with your reality, the more options for control and responsibility reveal themselves.

For a man who has experienced God directly, reality is surprisingly easy to deal with and manipulate, because he sees God in all things, and identifies with God (as a part of God).

There are other formulas or psychological relationships that can be established as identities, but it is important to remember that identity is a very fluid and adaptable thing.

Look into transpersonal psychology sometime. Enlightening.

What is the importance of MAN?
We were created by God to love Him, and if we don't... what good are we?

God is a very good way of explaining things that we don't understand about our lives. For example -- why was little 4 year-old Betty killed in that drive-by shooting? Oh, it was God who wanted her by His side.
