Yeah coconut milk is good for our hair. It makes your hair thick and healthy. I used it when I was still a kid and right now I don't need it anymore because I have a thick hair already.

*Home Remedy For Dry Hair

Flaxseed Oil

Probably the best home remedy for dry hair, flaxseed oil improves hair texture and prevents hair from becoming dry and brittle. Take as directed on the label.

Water

Salt water, soapy water, and heavily chlorinated water, like pool water, can be very damaging to your hair and cause it to be very dry. Limit your exposure to these harmful waters.

Jojoba Oil

Jojoba oil is a very effective home remedy for dry hair because it actually penetrates the hair shaft, lubricates it, and then seals it. Pour 1/2 to 1 cup of jojoba oil into a bowl.

Moisten your hair with water and then, with your fingers, gently massage the oil into your hair, starting at the roots and work your way out to the ends.

Now take an old towel (it might get oil stained) and put it in the dryer for a couple of minutes to warm it up. Wrap your hair with the warm towel and leave it ther for 1/2 to 1 hour. Then shampoo as normal.

Avocado And Bananas

This home remedy for dry hair is a bit messy, but it has been known to be a good one.Take a very ripe old banana and mash it up and mix it with a very ripe old avocado and then apply it throughout your hair.

Leave the mixture in your hair for about 20 minutes before thoroughly rinsing it out.

White Oak Bark Shampoo

Mix 2 tablespoons of white oak bark into 1 cup of water. Bring the mixture to a boil and then reduce the heat and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.

Strain the mixture and add 2 tablespoons of castile soap. Mix it up and then add 3 tablespoons of herbal soap, 1 teaspoon of honey, and 1 beaten egg.

Although this home remedy for dry hair is a little more complicated than others, it works wonders on dry course hair. Use it as a shampoo, and then rinse hair well with apple cider vinegar.

Beer

Beer can make your hair look shiny and healthy. After shampooing, towel dry your hair. Apply the beer to your hair with a spray bottle and then blow-dry.

Chamomile Shampoo

This home remedy for dry hair can actually replace your store-bought shampoo permanently. Pour 4 cups of boiling water over 5 tablespoons of chamomile flowers, cover the mixture, and let it set for about 30 minutes. Strain it, and then add 1/2 cup of castile soap flakes.

Mayonnaise

Mayonnaise is a great hair conditioner, and is an excellent home remedy for dry hair. Rub it throughout your hair and leave it in for about 30 minutes before rinsing it out real good.

Coconut oil is good for hair generally. I know someone who is 60 now and has nice black hair (natural). He has been using cocnut oil since young.

But... I also know of people who started later when they had hair trouble (didnt really solve the problem).

So maybe you want to go for a hair spa or steam to treat your hair before you start using coconut oil.

Olive oil I heard is way better. Not the regular olive oil. Go to a beauty supply store and its hair oil in a spray bottle. Doesnt make your hair as greasy.
