No, tears can't turn to blood. Tears are made from... water!
They contain Sodium Chloride (NaCl) which accounts for the salty taste. In fact, the sodium chloride concentration in tears is about the same as the one of oceans, evidently a consequence of our aqueous past. Tears also contain a little bit of mucus, a lot of antibodies and plenty of lysozyme, an antibacterial enzyme. These components protect, humidify,
and lubricate the eye surface so that it stays healthy and shiny.
As you see, tears don't contain blood ever unless you have a tear in part of your eye. And usually one would go to sleep from exhaustion after crying so long.

No it won't. Blood and tear come from different duct.
If you irritate your eyes and eyelids enough, it will bleed, but that's not the same thing.

more likely you will just run out of tears. it would take some serious trauma to cry blood.

Nope. Not going to happen because when our tear ducts dry up from extensive crying, we only get to cry tearlessly. :)
