Trek is #1 and KHS is #101, What do you think is better??????

Looking for the best bang for your buck? Try a KHS. Looking for better quality? Try Trek.

I own a KHS FXT Trail, which only cost me 350 dollars. It has full suspension, Manitou front and rear shocks, and has Panaracer knobby tires.

The suspension and handling isn't as good as the K2 that I used to ride, but I've ridden big box store bikes (Sorry, Next sucks) and the KHS' are leagues above them.

I've ridden a Trek before. Good handling, excellent suspension and smooth shifting, better than a KHS, but waaaayyy more expensive.

Go with the KHS if you're slumming it. Go with the Trek if you have the money.

On Craigslist, 2005-2006 Trek 1200's go from a low of $400 to a high of $600 with an average around $475. The key to price seems to be whether it has 105 or Tiagra. The KHS is harder to find examples of but the ones I found were for around $400-$500.

Trek... and not because Lance road it. I've had a few different bikes, and Trek's have always been the most reliable, strongest, and best bike for the buck in the long run. You can't go wrong.

Trek

Both are good, but are you looking at an expensive road bike? Mountain bike? Hybrid?

Overall both names have good bikes for most levels of riders, but if you have a lot of money and want something really "high end" then go for Trek.
I also like Specialized...

its all about what FITS you the best. no bike is better just by a name or color. you need to go to a GOOD bike shop and have them find a bike that fits you and is suited to your needs. Then you will enjoy it much more and ride more.
