Self Defense....NO.... Unless the coward that fires rocket propelled grenades or short range missiles across the boarder then climbs in the van to try and act as if he is taking his family to Disney land... What idiot shoots from a civilian populated area and then blames the other side for returning fire? In my way of thinking Stupid is still stupid... Lets put this into perspective Mr. Stupid takes and drives his missile firing truck to the local school, hospital, (You pick the place) and then fires at another country. AND WHAT EXACTLY DO YOU THINK WILL HAPPEN!?! The country you fired at will say oh my GOD they are to stupid to shoot at because they are near a school or church, or hospital... Maybe they wont shoot again if we ignore that they just killed 5 or 10 people... Its a wonder that Israel is using the "limited" ordnance they are. Think what would happen to those same areas if they decided to use 1000 pound bombs instead of 100 pound air to ground missiles... If Hezbollah stops the missile attacks and returns the hostages then Israel has stated that they would quit firing at the stupid missile platforms in civilian held areas... DUH...

A van with a child in it is not a very good bomb. Even a truck with thirty goats would have a better effect. More horn shards.
How does one attach a vehicle to an f16 anyway.

gotta go, I need to ask that question.

I call it the most heinous crime against humanity . I could not keep the images of amputated children and infants out of my mind. i have a nice who is only 8 months old and i would not like to see her in that position ever. I lost friends and a relative in 911 and it is all because we Americans can not control the maddens of this cabinet

The question is what would you do if you know a van carrying a child was coming toward you and your friends with few men in it wanting to kill you with a machine gun.

I bet you won't be sitting and let them do it.

Civilians always die, there are no innocent bystanders, and there is nothing moral or "right" about a war. As cynical as it might seem the only thing that matters is who wins. The morality is decided by the history writers and guess who gets to write the history. God help the losers.

Sounds like an inevitable consequence of your tolerating Hezbollah's war crimes. Disguising themselves as civilians is banned by every measure of civilized practice in order to prevent just these sort of occurrences.

Maybe you should start calling Hezbollah to account for their actions? (And everybody else who demands that Geneva Conventions protections be given to people who disguise themselves as civilians?)

I think-if you don't start it, the F16 will stay on the ground.

too bad children are killed when the country they live in is so evil that they harbor terrorists and let them in their government. The blood of those children is on the palestinians.
