i might try shelters...but i don't think i'll have any luck finding a pug. plus i'd probably wind up wanting to take all the animals home with me.

go online and search pug rescue....also you can go to petfinder.com & fill in all your info, just to forwarn you though the only place your apt to find a pug for $100 is at a shelter. Even through pug rescue a younger pug(under 4 year) starts about $400 because they come spayed/neutered healthe checked & vaccinated....I was VERY FORTUANTE to find my Abbey at my locl shelter & after the cost of spaying I ended up paying $39 for her!! GOOD CHOICE on a doggie though I love my little girl!!!

100 dollars won't get you a pug unless you adopt from your local SPCA. That is my actual recommendation since those dogs will be put down.

If you try but can't find one for adoption, PLEASE find a reputable breeder in your area. DO NOT buy one from a pet store. Those stores buy their dogs from puppy mills where the dogs are kept in horrifying and cruel conditions. The mother's of these puppies are kept in a cage her whole life with no interaction with other dogs and forced to breed as soon as she goes into heat for the duration of her life.

A good pug will likely cost 300-1000 dollars from a good breeder. Look online for breeders as they, many times, list themselves for buyers. These dogs are generally well-socialized and well-bred. AND you get to see the mom and dad and see how their personalities and temperments are.

Best of luck!

we've a woman pug. She is older & so some distance we have not had wellbeing problems. She is annoying & needs various interest. She does shed, sneeze, snore, scratch, & lick all the time. With all those subject concerns she continues to be a magnificent addition to the family participants. Pugs have large personalities & are very unswerving companions.

We have 2 wonderful fawn pugs. I would say if you find one for 100 dollars you should make sure to have it throughly vet checked to see what is wrong with it. They can go up to 700 or more here in MI. They are GREAT dogs though, especially with kids. Very loving, very people oriented, very loyal doggies. Great choice!
