So quick version of events: Saturday my ex and I broke up, wasn't working.. for the best. Sunday we decided to keep "casually" seeing eachother. Fair enough. Probably a bad idea but c'est la vie. So last night I sent him a text asking why he didn't say good-bye Sunday after we had been talking. He sent me back a message clarifying our break-up in a mean way. Of course I was offended as I was intending to ask him over later later (catch my drift) but I was hurt so I sent him back a relatively nasty text. Anyways, I had drank too much wine and this morning I am mortified. Should I text him and say Sorry, mobiles + wine + me should not be allowed in the same room together! I mean he didn't have to be mean and he really misinterpreted what I intended. Help help!

personally i'd forget all about it , pretend it never happened. everyone drunk dials. depeneding on how long you were together he should know that you were drunk and didn't mean what you said. saying that, if it's really bugging you then just text him, it won't do any harm and you'll probably feel better about the situation. good luck!

No. Leave it alone. What's done is done. You said he was rude to you about something right? So don't sit up there and try to make amends for something you did wrong. The thing is, when you were drunk and sent him the text, you meant what you were saying, but now that you are sober, you feel bad.
Let it go. He will get over it. You aren't together anymore so don't worry about it.

i think if he needed to be told what u said then dont because then it will seem like ur trying to get back with him u know and if u dont that wont be good he can be misslead and u know when ur drunk the truth comes out so u most likely ment every word u said so i say no dont say sorry

a) send me your mobile
b) send me your wine
c) send me yourself
d) we will have fun

but seriously, it depends, if you want get rid of thim, than dont say sorry

but if you want be friends with him, what i think is good idea while you have just broke-up in friendly way.

you can just send him simple text

"sorry for sunday, ive been drunk, and I've just realized that i have send you offensive sms, as i dont even remember sending them, i had to be very drunk and out of my mind"

If you are patient kind??? and actually like him but cracked your whip because he was rude to you then DO NOT breakup for good.

But if you are sure that he will not respond positively to your conciliatory gestures then say NO to him right away.

I don't see any need for you to appologise.

if u want to get back with him then yes, if not delete his number stop it happening again in the future. he hasn't texted back to say sorry to u so just forget about him.

Forget it... He won't be interested... Once things turned nasty, you lost all hopes of anything "casual"...

Just move on and find yourself someone else... ;)
