When the newest dictator, evil leader wants to step on my front lawn and tell me how to live my way, according to HIS way, YES. I will shoot that SOB dead. Even if it results in me getting killed. But, I am an American. Many people don't understand this concept of "Give Me Liberty Or Give Me Death", because they were never able to live within a society that has this belief. It is different when you grow up in a world that allows you to say "My President is a Schmuck", or "Being a religion or race that isn't just one religion or race for everyone, is okay" I may disagree with your opinion, but I will defend your right to speak, write, and act on it with my own life. Freedom is that important.

TO Jes81, above- You're Welcome! And for Mortis, below this post-Thank You, and I hope you don't have to do a 3rd tour

Everybody must sacrifice to protect the country and freedom. It is a duty and a moral obligation because our families will not live peacefully if all of us are not willing to serve. Participate being a soldier or even play a role as a simple citizen contributing against the fight against terrorism.

Sad, but true. most of us are not afforded the same freedoms that some in this country seem to have. And yet the cost of defending it is higher for those who have "less" to lose.
I love this country--and what we say we stand for. The truth is...most of our leaders (politicians) wouldn't do it themselves.

If you're dead, you can't really partake in "freedom and rights."
