Choose a hair stylist experienced in curly/dry hair.
Have your hair stylist help you choose a hairstyle that is easy to maintain--preferably one that just requires a wet-and-go approach.
Once you have your favored style, visit your stylist at least 4 times a year to trim split ends.
Don't let your hair stylist use a razor to layer your hair (although layering is good.) Razors contribute to split ends.
Don't wash hair every day. This kind of hair needs the natural oils from your scalp to reduce frizz.
To upkeep your desired style, just wet hair with some conditioner on non-washing days (rinse thoroughly).
Avoid using hairdryers unless necessary. Blowdrying hair dries it out. If you must use a hair dryer than make sure you use a diffuser.
Believe it or not, grease, mousses and gels make caring for this kind of hair harder!! Chemical build-ups require more washing than is healthy.
If you must use products, use high-quality, health-food store or salon products that leave little residue.
Do not brush, unless you want a 'fro.
Love your hair! Many are envious of the regal quality of curly hair!
Hope this helps~

This article helped with my frizz hair!! Good luck! =)
Real Hair Solutions for Big, Frizzy Hair
Hair that is too poofy and has a tendency to get frizzy can be the most frustrating of hair to deal with. After taking time to painstakingly style this hair, the possessor will often see it grow and become frizzy almost immediately. While nothing will permanently change it into the smooth flowing mane of hair that most of us dream of, using shampoos, conditioners, and styling aids designed for this type of hair will greatly improve the texture and our degree of happiness with it. Start the care of your hair with the shampoo and conditioner.
Frizzy hair almost always needs extra moisturizing. When choosing a shampoo or conditioner, look for the words smoothing, moisturizing or hydrating. These products will contain emollients to smooth the hair shaft and offer more control during styling.
After the hair is towel dried you will want to apply one or more of the many smoothing agents to be found in stores.
Smoothing serums and frizz serums aid in smoothing the hair but usually do not offer the holding quality of other products. Some of these are light in weight and can be used alone on hair that gets frizzy but becomes overly limp with more product. Others are heavy in nature and aid in controlling hair with too much body. The heavier product should be used sparingly until you have experience in its effect on your type of hair. Serums are most often applied to wet hair.
Hair crèmes are creamy in form and usually add control to the hair along with the frizz relief properties. They can be used on wet hair or worked into dry hair and provide a certain amount of hold.
Gels offer the maximum in hold and are usually better at relieving frizz than a mousse. The layering of several of these products will increase the amount of frizz control.
Reading labels, advice from your hairdresser and experimenting will help you decide which products will work best for you.
Once you have decided on the proper products pay close attention to drying and styling your hair. I prefer to apply a frizz serum and hair crème and then let my hair air dry until it is damp but not dripping wet. Actual styling will not take place until the last few minutes of drying time. Be sure to exercise control over the hair while it is drying. Concentrate on small areas and work slowly. Allowing the hair to blow around will only accentuate the unruliness. I have found that a round boar-bristle brush works best to smooth out very curly hair, leaving it with a healthy shine.
Make sure the hair is completely dry. Any moisture in the hair will cause it to revert to its frizzy texture. You may use several tools to finish your style. A one and one half inch curling iron or larger will smooth out left over unruliness and give it shape. A paddle brush used with a blow dryer will put the finishing touches on a straight style. When your hair is dried and styled, further styling and smoothing is offered by pomades and hair waxes.
Finish your style with a flexible hair spray and, even in humidity, everyday will be a "Good Hair Day".

your hair is going to be frizzy when you dry it if you have any kind of naturl wave or curl. If you want to style it curly than you need to use a diffuser which is an attatchment for your haidryer. If your wearing it straight.Biosilk will help but you need a flat iron or curling iron to straighten it.You just have to work with it. Hair doesn't styles on it's own

We all know by now that using a conditioner is necessary to control frizzy hair. The trick is to leave the conditioner on for a few minutes before rinsing it out. If you have extra time, try wrapping your hair in a towel with the conditioner on and let your hair "soak" for about 10-15 minutes. Then rinse it out.
When you're done, wrap your hair in a towel for several minutes to get out the access water instead of rubbing the towel over your head. Both towel rubbing and brushes lead to hair breakage and make it much more vulnerable to frizzy hair.
Try just putting on some mousse and comb it in. Let air dry and don't run your fingers or a comb through it until it's completely dry. Using a blow dryer in hot weather will probably make the problem worse. If you want your hair straight and that's the only way you can get it that way, then by all means, use the dryer. Just use the cool setting and don't use it every day.
Many shampoos and conditioners are good. however, not all big-name brands are better, they just carry a larger price tag. It's a good idea to use multiple brands. This helps to avoid build-up that will make your hair appear heavy and dull. Don't wash your hair every day. Your natural oils help tame the frizz.
Another way to stop frizzy hair is using a frizz control remedy like Frizz-Ease which is available in department and drugstores. This is not a shampoo or conditioner but is designed especially for frizzy hair. These serums come in small bottles, but a little goes a long way. Try using this over a thin coat of mousse. As a result, your hair will be more shiny and less frizzy.
If you wash your hair in the mornings, you're not going to have time for all of this and you will have to skip leaving it in the towel. Just follow the other steps or consider doing this in the afternoon, so it's dry before you go to bed.
A good cut is the best tactic to prevent control frizzy hair, and you can ask your stylist to use thinning scissors to thin your hair if it is too thick. This should make it much more manageable. Thinning scissors are easy to use and available in stores also, but you need to know how to use them. Sometimes just having it done once at a salon is educational. Watch how they use the thinning scissors and follow the lead next time if you can't afford to go there every time.
Leave-in conditioners that you can spray on will often help dry and damaged hair. You may need to reapply it later on in the day. What works for one person does not necessarily work for the next, because everyone has different lifestyles and climates, so it's trial and error.
Finally, one last tip. Various hot oil treatments for dry and damaged hair can give you some temporary control to frizzy hair, but you'll probably need to use them weekly or biweekly.
Tame your frizzy hair by rubbing coconut oil into your hands and applying sparingly onto your hair. You don't want to overdo it - too much will make your hair look greasy. Shampooing your hair less frequently also helps with the frizzies. Excess shampooing strips natural oils from the hair.
Rinse your hair with baking soda and water to rid your hair of shampoo build-up and styling residues. Rinsing your hair with one juiced lemon and one cup of water is said to bring life and shine back to dull hair. Apple cider vinegar mixed with water will give your hair shine and bounce.
Add essential oil of ylang ylang to your shampoo, conditioner and styling agents as a hair rejuvenator and to stimulate hair growth. Add patchouli to your shampoo if you have oily hair.
Rosemary is an effective hair tonic and conditioner. Rosemary also helps retain color especially in dark hair.
Chamomile and lemon juice have a mild bleaching effect on hair. Mix chamomile tea with lemon juice and use as a rinse to lighten hair.
For problems with dandruff, add rosemary and/or patchouli essential oils to your shampoo or mix with almond oil as a hair treatment for your scalp.
For hair loss, add horseradish oil, cedarwood, clary sage, and/or rosemary oil to your shampoo. Also, Vitamins B, C, F, zinc, iron, copper and protein are essential for hair growth. MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) is a natural source of organic sulfur good for treating hair loss. Take MSM supplements or eat high sulfur content greens such as kale and watercress.
Drinking plenty of water and eating plenty of raw fruits and vegetables is probably the best way to achieving healthy hair. What goes into your body is reflective on the outside including your hair.
