Your child should ABSOLUTELY come with you into the bathroom...I know it's small but make it work! Even on a plane, strange things can happen and it doesn't take long! Your valuables like a laptop should be ok...it's big, no where for anyone to really grab and hide it on a plane. Smaller valuables should of course be carried on your person at all times.

I don't know how two of you would fit in an airplane bathroom. We just got back from a long flight and I'm 5'2 and barely fit in the first class bathroom.
Children travel unescorted all the time. The flight attendent is there to help keep your child company if you have to go..
I'd put your laptop away or let your daughter use. It isn't going to go far.

Here's an easy one GO BEFORE YOU GET ON. If an emergency happens you need to go then Yes take her with you. Just leave your stuff there you child is more valuable than anything else. Just put your stuff away before you get up. If it goes missing it's not that hard to have people searched etc. It's not like it can get off the plane while your up in the air.

You sound like a Worry Wart. You need to take life in your stride as it happens. You can't anticipate everything. For example, you might develop a friendship with the Lady in the next seat and that Lady would be only too happy to
talk to your six year old while you are tearing our hair out in the Bathroom!!

it is a plane...if someone steals your laptop, i'm sure someone will notice, and obviously the thief will have not gone very far.
as far as your kid goes, NEVER leave a child unattended. i doubt anyone would get away with her, but still...do you want her to be scared or have strangers talking to her? nooo.
i'm sure she will fit in the bathroom with you. if 2 people can have sex comfortably, a 6 old will fit. also, you should be used to this by now, from taking her into public restroom stalls with you--you do do that don't you???

I'm 15 now, yet because i'm 4 years previous I've been flying distinctive cases a 365 days on my own from Germany to Indonesia with a extensive quantity of distinctive airlines. It certainly is attainable because of the fact particularly plenty all the bigger airlines have a UM provider for infants below the age of 12 (above the age of three?) you only deliver your newborn to the verify in table, yet you may desire to "order" the UM provider in develop. in case your newborn is going to have a transit the airline is going to place it in a save place. For me it have been the busyness type lounges the place I have been given unfastened nutrition beverages, there have been UM lounges with various different united statesfrom international extensive particularly very comparable to a touch multi cultured playground :D

Take her with you. You may not like the way a complete stranger "keeps an eye on her" while you are in the toilet. I wouldn't be too stressed about the laptop, just make sure it has your name on it that can't be removed because if it goes missing it will still be on the plane.

I would. That other passenger could be very nice, or they could be a closet pedophile! You don't know!
I would ask her if she wants to see a very different bathroom, and then you both can have an adventure.
Don't worry about your valuables, they should be fine.

I have flown with a 9mth old who had fallen asleep. I asked a flight attendant to watch her. She sat down in my seat while I went. They don't mind the little break.
