I was listening to an Evangelical Christian Radio station and they were in support of the president and this administration.

There are many groups among Christians. Some support the President, some do not. Do not form a general opinion based on one radio station or one group of Christians.

Many people among the Christians do not like war. Some do. Many among the Christian evangelists see Israel as the same Israel mentioned in the Bible, whereas the Israel that is praised and protected in the Bible followed the letter of the Law of Moses as enshrined in the Torah, whereas most Israelis are more nationalists than religious which is literally putting the purpose of Israel on its very head. People on all sides are moved by label.

Some of these evangelists do not stop and think, just as many terrorists on our Muslim side do not stop and think what is the real issue. Ultimately the real issue is the LORD MOST HIGH.

ONE LORD and his creatures at many levels, highest being human beings who can think and act independently and are given free will. If we love the ONE LORD, we are bound to love his creatures great and small as his Artwork.

If you love the Artist, would you not love his artwork. Those who kill the innocent of God are criminals in my view, plain and simple, whether they are killing like the terrorists do, or as the terrorist states do, for selfish agendas, and temporal political or even religious goals.

May the HIGH LORD give us peace and soon. Amen.

Because the President supports right wing Christians. The Faith Based Initiatives is a practice of paying off conservative Christians for their votes as well as Presidential commercials for Right Wing brand Christianity.
Evangelical Christian means something radically different than when I was a kid. Then it meant sending missionaries to help others, today Evangelical is a thing veil for the sinful pursuit of greed and power.

Actually all Christian radio don't support the President. They should. It is Christian/Biblical to support your President and pray for him.

The administration is not as relevant as the call to pray for the leadership of the country. The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord.

I know we are supposed to pray for our leaders, even ones we don't like.

But I've seen the same thing...CNN Headline news reported a story that showed his entire speech and that had some definite negatives in the topic. On the same day the news story on the local Christian station only broadcast a brief portion of the speech which showed him in a very positive light.

To me, a lot of people in the religious right are not aware of some of the things that are going on, and these stations who limit their broadcast to only the positives of the president are being duped.

Didn't the USA vote him in for President? He may not be popular with some for upholding the truths this country was fouonded on. It may not look good for our country to have a leader that is mocked & smeared by his own, esp. at important gov't meets. Christian groups not feeling minorities are inferior, catch a Pastor on TV and see if the congregation is segregated. Where would this idea come from-maybe prejudice?

Because the President and this administration believes in giving money to faith-based groups, using God as a weapon, and denying rights to minority groups that Christian groups feel should not be treated equally with other people.

I'm a Christian and I think we should all support the president just like God told us to do. Pray for our leaders.
You don't have to agree on everything he does to support him.
My answer is. He's the President.><>

Because god told him to go to war in Iraq. And a fundamental part of being a christian is imposing your values and morals on other people...to go along with killing for failure to convert. Remember, Bush said that god told him to invade Iraq if you all forgot that.

Although I do wonder how the christian community feels about him being a hypocrite today....cursing (when I say cursing, I literally mean swearing) Hezbolah while on tape. Yes, he is a good christian.

ps NQV then I must ask this question....you consider all those who are not christians or belivers your enemy and see it as ok to kill them? If not restructure your last paragraph please.

Because Bush is a Good Ole Boy with moral values and basic beliefs that he sticks by. He loves his wife and family and wont cheat on him (Clinton) and stands up for what he believes in no matter what people say about him.
