See this site under "mental issues" for info on how diet and lifestyle can make a big difference. Also a new natural herb from Amazon rainforest that is most effective thing now for anxiety.

I've found that homeopathic medications help me. They are totally safe, no matter what other medication you are on- as they don't work the same way as regular prescription medications. Try Hyland's Calms, ask for it at your locally owned nutrition store (not the big chains, like GNC, they don't carry things like that)- or organic groceries like Whole Foods, Wild Oats, Earth Fare kind of store.

You might also see if there's Recovery, Inc. support groups in your area. (check the local newspaper) They teach you to use tools that really work at reducing symptoms, making them more manageable. It worked wonders for me.
