I believe that dreams mean nothing, but some people think that they mean everything. So here's a definition i looked up for you on a dream dictionary. (in this case, gay is the same as lesbian.)
Gay:
If you dream that you are gay (but you are not in your waking life), or hanging out with a group of gay people, it is symbolic of self-love and self-acceptance. You are becoming comfortable with your sexuality and femininity.

It doesn't mean anything, it just means that your brain associated something that you saw during the previous day with something you are familiar with (i.e. your friend). The only thing your dream meant was that you hit R.E.M. sleep, which is a good thing, it means your getting a lot of rest and your brain is functioning like it should when you aren't sleep deprived.
But it can be a little tough to forget something like that, i had a dream VERY similar with a friend of mine...and its kinda weird for a while to talk to them...but sooner or later you will forget about it. It might even help to just tell your friend about your dream, just to get the awkwardness out of the air, it will probably just end up being an inside joke between you and your friend.
Good Luck!

I wouldn't get too worried
it's natural to have subconscience thoughts about members of the opposite sex. There comes a time in everyone's life when they have these thoughts (or in your case dreams) and to be honest with yourself you have to ask: could I be gay?
And if the answer is no, they are just fantasies.
Or yes, I might be
Or you could be both. You could like guys just fine and want a relationship with one but you might find that you might enjoy a woman as well.
Im not a traditional person so it's an open discussion you have to have with yourself. It's not wrong but you have to decided for youself

It sounds really weird I know. I don't think anything is wrong with you. Now that you have had that dream do you feel diffrently about two girls together? I thought I was weird too because the same thing happened to me. I guess I can say I never was attracted to other girls in that way but I don't know how to put this I find girls attractive just not like that. I can't say I would never try that though. Who knows.

This dream could mean several things that may be about some other aspects in your life. They are not necessarily indications of 'gay' inclinations or tendencies. There are more aspects of the dream to look at. Think about the symbols in the dream, then try to determine what they may represent. In other words, consider the context.
--Look for clues in the situation. Are you dominant or submissive? Upset, or satisfied? Guilty or fulfilled? What waking-life situation does this feeling remind you of?
--Consider the personality traits your sex partner exhibits in the dream and in walking life. Is she alluring or repulsive? Strong willed or easily swayed? Could you use more of this personality trait in your own life?
--Nudity can suggest openess or honesty. You are not covering up your true self with this person.
-- Colors and numbers can give clues about a dream as well. For example:
-------Yellow: Happiness, lightness, intellect, cowardice
-------White: Peace, purity, cleanliness
-------Openess, spirituality, a 'blue' mood
Numbers can be these:
-------Two: Partners, twins, assurance
-------Four: Limitations, earthly things
-------Six: Balance, harmony, love
Your dreams are your own creation and are a reflection of yourself from the inside. Not all is at it appears just from looking at it the way it is. So while this could be a side of you that you didn't realize, it is MORE likely an expression of your own self from the inside looking out. You will have a better idea of what is and what is not you.
I hope this helps and I wish you luck in your introspection. And Happy Dreaming.

Means you should probably spend more time with your boyfriend or that you should get a boyfriend. Were you and your friend in a recent discussion about sex with boys? This is only your subconscious way of expressing your inner most thoughts but dont take it literally. Your friend was in the dream most likely because she was one of the last people you thought about or spoke to before falling asleep.

Having taken psychology classes and all, I say dreams are just dreams. They may reflect the overall feeling of your day before you fell asleep and is some strange mix of random thoughts and memories of the day. If you are really into Freud (which I am not) his theory might say you have some hidden passions and whatnot but I don't believe that stuff. I've had some strange dreams (teeth falling out, killing people, sex with strange people) and I just attribute it to anxiety issues.

I think that it means that you feel very close to this friend, and you have a very intimate relationship with her. You may be telling yourself that you are using this friend to avoid finding a mate of the opposite sex because she is filling all the roles that a mate might fill. I dont think that it means your gay, or ever even thought about actually doing it with her. Try expanding your circle of friends to include some single males that you might be interested in.

You probably have a curiosity about girls. And at your age is completely deniable. Don't freak out, have fun in your dreams!!! I'm married and started dreaming about women a while ago. Then I realized that i had an actraction to women, and since my living situation doesn't permit me to act on it, i recognize i'm dreaming while i'm dreaming, and take over so everything goes my way, and is a Perfect Dream
