Does anyone have any idea why my husband wanted to know how much my car payments are for paperwork for the BAH?

He is stationed in another country. We are also getting a divorce now. He said that the finance office ALWAYS asks that on the paperwork.

However, JAG, the inspector general, and even the finance office at his post say that they don't ask that question. Any ideas on what he is up to?

It sounds like he has been applying for some kind of financial loan or credit card and because he is married, he can put your bills down also. Be careful because while you are still married, you will also be responsible for his debts.

It has some thing to do with taxes. i'm no longer able to remember precisely what it replaced into, however the information you like is on the loose/decreased lunch request varieties at maximum faculties. It says once you do no longer could desire to count extensive form BAH. i be conscious of that's no longer very useful, yet I did attempt. good luck! i've got heard that Texas is a guy's state, so as which you would be able to no longer honest too badly. i'm dealing with NC and that they tried to count extensive form my earnings alongside with my hubbies for baby help. Car payments have nothing to do with BAH. BAH is for housing and it is based in the area where you live...regardless of how much you actually spend for housing.

Your husband is either confused or lying.

Your husband may be applying for bankrupcy as well. OR, he could be filling out some paperwork that is for a settlement of division of property.

Since you are married, he is ALSO responsible for your bills just as your are responsible for his. He may just be covering his backside, but that question is NOT in reference to BAH.
