I've been good friends with a girl for a year, we hang out 2-3 times a week, never dated or ahything physical. She is uncomfortable hearing about me dating other girls and doesn't like me to know about her guys she hangs out with. Is this because she is interested in me or is there something else going on??

she probably likes you but since your dating someone she thinks your not avaliable and she gets offended because about you asking about the men she dates because maybe she thinks you are prying and it bothers her because she really wants to be with you but you always have another girl on your arm besides her.

there could be several reasons:
1. it may be easier for her to maintain your "just friends" status if she doesn't think of you in any sort of dating terms. simply by bringing it up, a different dynamic is added to the friendship.
2. she may act like a completely different person around guys she's interested in, and she doesn't want you to know about the slutty/overly-flirty side of her.
3. she is into you, but she doesn't want you to know or for it to go anywhere, so she keeps dating comments off limits for fear that she'll sound jealous (which always seems to be a guy's response when a female friend makes a non-wonderful comment about another girl).
4. she likes you, and doesn't want to hear about your girls. so if you're interested in return, let her know there aren't any meaningful ones and that you could potentially be interested in return.

she's controlling and selfish...if its not physical or dating than don't waist your time...there's plenty of females out there............
