I love waking up to the sound of the birds and the bees, next to the one you love, then waken them up nice and slow, by kissing them on the neck then down the arms and , hold it , you said birds , OK sorry I thought you said birds and bees....OOPS....

Love the morning chorus. However I live in Australia and the magpies here have a really WONDERFUL sound, it is really lovely to hear.
Good to hear that you appreciate Gods creation too!

I love it! there is a huge rookery of crows that live near me and every morning I hear them it sounds so cool, you can tell there are hundreds of them nesting in the bush behind the town, and it sounds wild. The first birds I hear though are always American Robins, they start singing sometimes at 4-5 Am but I sleep through it, I enjoy hearing it when I am awake though. I sometimes even hear loons at night from the lakes and rivers behind my house...its pretty faint though the lakes are about 1km away.

In my city they are obnoxious, but in the wilderness, they are just like an angelical chorus.
They almost praise the magificency of life itself, the wild horizons of this still beautiful and wonderful world.
Want to feel lofty? Hear morning birds on a wood.

I'm nearly deaf and can't hear the dawn chorus, but those bl**dy magpies get through every time

All you can hear around my house is the sound of the wind, it's not because there aren't any birds here, oh there's plenty, they're just too busy being gagged my ninja minions to sing.

I've lived with an african grey for years and the first couple of years he would wake up when the sun came up around 6 am. He'd sit in his cage yelling...SHUT UP! CHARLIE SHUT UP! His name is Charlie.
Eventually he learned to take his own advise and he finally shut up. :P
So I guess it depends..if they are singing nicely it's not to bad but if they are just being cheeky, no not to much. LOL

Love it. We have all kinds of little sparrows, quail and lots more! They sound so pretty! The only birds I don't like hearing are my neighbor's parrots and cockatoos screaming all the time.
