You can't "stop" worry - it's a natural human reaction to something distressing or frightening or unincomprehensible. It does become a problem if worry is out of context or is completely taking over your life. If that's the case, see a doctor or psychiatrist.

Without knowing what it is that you worry about, I can't help much more than that, sorry. For a more literal explanation, put the word "anxiety" into Wikipedia.

Jesus I spent most of my life worrying and if I had nothing to worry about then I worried even more, not worth it as it only causes stress and lines on your face, chill out and leave the problems of "obviously" other people to sort out themselves.

constant worrying is a form of anxiety, there are medications that help such as Xanax. Or try Cognitive behaviour therapy!
However I do not practice what I preach.
I am sitting here at 6.30am worried sick because I don't want to go to work today!

Ever notice most of the things that you worry about turn out to be no big deal or they work themselves out. Keep telling yourself this and dont sweat the small stuff

HI, TALK TO SOMEONE A FRIEND PERHAPS. OR EMAIL YOUR PROB TO A FRIEND OR WRITE A LETTER. AS WRITING IT DOWN WILL HELP. THEN EVALUATE IT. IS IT AS BAD AS IT SEEMS? WHAT SOLUTIONS ARE THERE? MAKE AN ACTION PLAN AND ACT ON IT. BUT IN THE PROCESS LOOK AFTER YOURSELF, EAT PROPERLY, GO OUT WITH YOUR FRIENDS, DO THINGS TO PLEASE YOURSELF AND MAKE YOURSELF HAPPY. GOD BLESS X
