Of course talk to him he probably is aware of your fear about him which is reasonable but you have to understand that we all are in danger that something will happen to us anytime apart from his job he might live to be 100 it's not related to somebody's career but when your time comes you have to go i have 2 friends who lost their father this year and both have a sister and brother younger then yourself and both of them died a natural death and didn't' have dangerous or stressful jobs so don't' get yourself all workout for no reason

That is perfectly normal to worry about your loved ones when they are away, especially when they have a dangerous job, such as your father. Just chill out, dude. I'm sure your dad knows how to handle himself when situations get sticky.
Talk to him about your fear of his job. He'll understand.

I think that you should talk to him about this. I can understand why you worry about it, but you can't let it control your life. Just know that the other people your father works with are also watching out for him.

Of course talk to him. Make sure you leave time for him, time to do some father-son stuff (fishing, football, whatever guys do). I worry about my parents too because my closet friend just lost her father. It's jsut a part of life.

Talk to him and he'll understand because he's constantly worried about you. It's not paranoid it's called love.

Talk to him about it, your fear is quite common among spouses and children of police officers. There are support groups to talk to.
