i sit down and read all the time and i miss my boyfriend but when he metions coming around i'm like just go away. i stare at his picture of a night thinking how horribly cruel i am to him when in realitey i'm not that cruel at all i have nightmares where everyone who i care for die or start hating me. i cry a lot cuz i think that when my best friend moves away i'm going to have no one and become a wall again. i hardly sleep. and i try to explain to my mom what's bothering me but she just doesn't seem to like my boyfriend and always nags me with stupid stuff. i often feel like i am alone and a failure. i sit down and try to watch movies but feel no passion like i used to. all i want to do is read and write but i feel like i should do more. i just feel so alone but when people r around i shy away as if they were poisonous. what do ya'll think?

It sounds to me like you have some depression, and maybe even anxiety. Talk openly to the people in your life that you love just as you are doing here on this forum. Tell your mom, friend, and boyfriend how you feel and what's really going on inside your head. I assure you at least one of them, and probably all of them, will come to your aid and give you the support and love you need. I really recommend trying some therapy because this can really help...it doesn't mean you have to go on medication or anything, just talking to an outside source who won't judge you, and can help guide you IS REALLY effective. It sounds like you do have some problems, but I don't think they are too big to fix or overcome, and the first step to doing that is to be open and honest with the people around you and ask for their help. Also, from my personal experience, finding God or some type of spirituality is really helpful for getting through difficult feelings or behaviors. Good luck!

You may have depression. You could get your hormone levels checked. If they are out of whack you can get a prescription to help balance your seratonin. Lack of sleep will deplete seratonin. Exercise will help your mental attitude. Ride a bike, walk, swim, jog?

Well I think it might be a chemical inbalance, or depression. I am not a doctor it is just what I think. So I definetly think you should see a doctor or a therapist. I really hope you feel better. :]]

I'm beginning to believe, that at one point in all our lives we tend to go through similar emotions that you are going through. I'm sure there is no comfort in what I'm about to say but, we all go through what you are going through right now. It should pass, if not, you'll have to talk to a trusted adult or to your Doctor.
