My dogs pee and poop in the backyard. It's near the pool. Now it smells in the area. Can Ido anything?

I pick up the poop every other day. Is there something I can use to make the smell go away? It seems the smell is worse at night, when the soil is moist, or right after the yard has been watered.

Yuck, I know exactly the smell you are describing. You are right, so gross.
Have you tried training your dogs to use one area away from the pool. If not try that. Get a piece of Astro Turf or a mat that will cover the grass when they go, so the poo never hits the ground. You can put it down for them and pick it up when they are done.
Go to a nursery, you know, where the plants come from. Not Home Depot or Lowe's, but an actual nursery. Look in the yellow pages. Ask an employee there if there is something.
There is a product called "Greenums" that is supposed to keep pet waste from ruining lawns, but I don't know if it works on smell. You get it at pet stores. Read a package and see.

Fence the pool area so they can't get closer...

The only thing I know to do is "wash the soil" occasionally. Hose it down until the "elements" are washed down & out of the yard. Best time would be in the morning, so the grass has time to dry before nightfall. Only do this (perhaps) once a week -- or you'll have fungus problems, etc, in the yard from too much moisture.

I don't know of anything you can put on it to make the smell "go away", that won't kill the grass. And the dogs are just going to keep doing it... Clear water is the safest thing - seems to me.

Take dogs for a walk so that they do not pee in near pool,some park or some place

bleach the concrete around the pool and use a garden sanitizer thats organic. most home depots have it for when people use fertilizers

umm maybe spray your yard with febrezze,or not let them "Go" there,like fence that area off? or take a crap in thier water dish or food bowl or rub thier face in it
