i have some dvdr and they play on my pc but when i play them on mydvd player it says unknow disk what is worng

Sometimes you have to change the format so your dvd disc can play on multiple dvd players. You can do this by using a dvd editor or software (nero).

your dvd player is not equipped to play DVD-RW. Not all of them are.
