I just moved to a very nice area of metro-Atlanta from a very sh*tty area of metro-Detroit. In Detroit, they set off fireworks from early May through early August...SO annoying. Here, in GA, they set them off on July 4. That was it.
Some people don't know when enough is enough...they're either firebugs or obsessed with blowing stuff up, or have nothing better to spend their money on than fireworks. What I find is really annoying are fire crackers. I can take bottle rockets and the ones that leave the ground, but the constant poppoppoppop of fire crackers makes my skin crawl!!

During the Bush presidency Dick Channey requested lots of fireworks displays throughout the country so it would keep everyone on their toes.When Bush is out of office.
