Since a semi-circle is just half of a circle, find the center of the base of your semi-circle. Once you have the center, measure the distance from the center point to the edge of the semi-circle. That is your radius.

The radius will be the full length of the door if the door will swing around a full 180 degrees which would be a semi circle or else it would be a quarter circle and the radius would still be the length of the door

The radius is 1/2 the diameter

The diameter is Pi times the raduis divided by 2

(3.14 R)/2

measure the width of the door, then divide by two should give you the radius of the semi-circle at the top

the area formula for a full circle is pie(3.14)*r*r so if it is semicircle

area is (3.14*r*r)/2

so radius is r*r=(2*area)/3.14

so if you know area you can find radius..

..in case of door arch just measure the base diameter and divide by 2

note:in case of full or semi circle radius is the same...
