are not sure . . I mean could be . . .then does it hurt to take a prescribed drug from doctor to get rid of a POSSIBLE parasite (roundworm, hookworm, pinworm, whatever) . Or a OTC medecine for ridding oneself of any parasite. Is there ANY negative side - effect? How do these medecines kill the worm? Are they like pestecides? Do they DRY the worm out . . and in effect dry YOU OUT ?

If you are that concerned about a possible parasitic worm, you should definitely go see a doctor. And do NOT take prescription medications that were not prescribed to you. Even if the person they were for had no problems with the medication, that doesn't mean that it will work for you the same way. I had a tapeworm when I was about 5 and took some medication and a lot of prune juice to get rid of it. I don't know how the medicine worked, and it was about 30 years ago, so I'm sure some new methods have been figured out since then. You might also check out www.webmd.com
