Class 1 Div 2 locations are those where concentrations of flammable gases, vapors or liquids are not likely to exist under normal operating conditions......

I have not come across an EL monitor that is classified for CL1/Div2. and don't think there is one. Best option is to either use an intrinsically safe unit or place it in a pressurized box.
